I have just added the mods for resonant rise two onto my minecraft I have the correct version (1.6.4) I also have the correct forge (#956) for this mod pack I started it and i took a couple hours to load and it still didn't open then I realized that I was running Java 7 32 bit so I updated to Java 8 64 bit and now the client will not open at all. the launcher opens and loads just fine but when I press play nothing happens. the launcher closes like normal but the client doesn't pop up like it is supposed to. I'mm pretty sure I have added everything correctly . I do not have a crash report because the client never opens. any suggestions for what might be happening?

Update: I've resloved the problem myself. So for anyone who is also having this problem. If you are running a mod pack that is made for 1.6.4 you cannot run Java 8 you have to run java 7. The reason my client was taking so long to load before I switched javas was because my computer does not have enough memory for the mod pack that I was trying to use. Which is a different problem all together.
