Hello. I have a problem and I cant seem to find anything on it anywhere else. I AM on a Mac, just to make this clear. That is what I believe is causing the problem.
My Java version is updated to the latest version, but whenever I try to launch Forge, this text box appears.
After clicking "OK", the box disappears and Minecraft never launches. It may be a glitch with one of the mods I have, but like I said, my Java is updated to the latest version. I have no idea why Forge recognizes my version as an outdated version.
First, try to Downgrade to Java 7, Java 8 doesn't work with Forge, There is a mod who called JavaFixer, I think, which you can download and put in Mods folder
System Preferences->Java->wait for panel to pop-Java->View, copy file path for java 8
MC launcher->hit Edit Profile->JVM executable->check checkbox and paste file path for java 8. Save profile. Hit play.

Thanks for the help!
Edit: Yes, I have correctly installed Java 8.
However, the text box still appears whenever I try and run Forge.
Second, Make sure you DELETED Other JAVA versions
MC launcher->hit Edit Profile->JVM executable->check checkbox and paste file path for java 8. Save profile. Hit play.
