Hello, and Minecraft started acting weird today. The sound was not on, even though the sound for the computer and Minecraft was at 100%. Even after restarting both Minecraft and my computer, it still stayed that way. The sound works for everything but Minecraft.

97% of teenagers would cry if they saw Justin Bieber on top of a tower about to jump. If your the 3% who is sitting there with popcorn screaming "DO A BACKFLIP", copy and paste this as your signature.
I tried what you told me to, and the sound is still off. It's not the speakers, because there is sound for everything else.

Hmm, there's nothing in that DxDiag that indicates a sound card issue...
Try going into Options>Resource Packs and changing something (whether is be enabling or disabling a resource pack) and hit Done - this should restart Minecraft's sound output system. If you don't have any resource packs to enable/disable, it could still work (the way you tell is that Minecraft hangs for a few seconds while it resets). Give it a go.

Curse Premium- Your audio device is unplugged when you start Minecraft
- You have more than one audio device (and Minecraft's picking the wrong one)
- Minecraft's muted in its settings
- Minecraft's muted in your computer's settings (the Mixer in Win7 is an example)
- Your audio drivers exploded randomly (unlikely)
If you've checked the Mixer and Minecraft's options, then a DxDiag should help diagnose all the other issues.-
