Hi! I bought minecraft way back when it was still in beta, and I've only played it every so often since then. Today I redownloaded minecraft onto my computer, and after remembering all my login info and transfering my account to mojang, I tried to start the game. When I pressed play, it started loading some data and then the launcher disappeared for a moment only to load back up with an error. It reccomended I upgrade my drivers, so I attempted to do so, only finding out that my drivers were fully updated. I then followed further advice and got a dx diagnosis and saved it to a paste bin.
At this point all I know to do is ask for support here. I'm hoping I don't need to buy a new graphics card, so any solution that doesn't require me to spend money would be best!

Moderator1. downgrade windows to 8 or lower
2. install a newer graphics card (not possible on a laptop)
3. attempt the workaround here http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/support/unmodified-minecraft-client/1868881-windows-8-lack-of-updated-graphics-drivers-solved#c8
The workaround may not work and if you try it be it on your own head.
The last known drivers (for windows 8) for your GPU are http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&os=Windows 8 - 64
