Issue: FPS, when I get into the game its fine for a few minutes and after that they decrease more and more until I'm down to 1-2 FPS.
(client side only, not server side)
(Only on this computer, not others connected to server)
Happens anytime, even when I'm the only person on the server
Server: FTB: Direwolf 20
Server Specs: 6 core 3.5 AMD processor, 16BG ram DDR3 --fully dedicated to running this server
Server never goes for 30% Ram usage / 15% processor
Playing Computer Specs (lagging)
Graphics: 675M 2GB
RAM: 8GB (5 Dedicated) (Upped to to 7 to test, and no change)
Processor: Quad core 2.4
Java: 8
Windows 7 64 bit
260GB SSD
Steps I've taken to attempt to solve:
-Increase Ram allocation
-Insured Nvidia 675 is processing game and not integrated graphics
-Attempted to re-roll Java back to 7, problem persists
-Tested RAM
-Tested GPU
-Tested CPU
This computer should not be lagging, my girlfriends computer(my old) has worst computer spec and not lagging at all. This verifies that the lag in not server bound but this computer.
Any ideas? If you need more information, please let me know.
Go to MC launcher, hit Edit Profile and select Keep Launcher Open. Save profile. Select it on the launcher and
try loading into the world. After your dps drops completely, press F3 and take a screenshot.
Then go back to the launcher, and copy paste entire contents of second and last tabs (launcher log and game output) here, along with the screenshot.
Sorry for the late reply. Got on last night and 100% 60 fps, no drop. Got on today for no more than 10 minutes and it started happening. I couldnt figure out how to do the logs exactly as you said. I went to the FTB launcher and clicked upload log, I hope this has the information you're looking for.

My print screen failed, before I close the game sadly. I was about 40% of my ram our of about 5000mb and fps was at 1 with 1-3 chunks loaded. I'll attempt to take another screen shot.
I went ahead and reinstalled FTB, but I know the problem is somewhere else because I had the problem before and couldn't figure it out, so I reformatted my computer and it worked great for a couple weeks.
There are a lot of errors, from a bunch of mods that ought to be addressed. But the worrying one was a registry error at the beginning and a mac file reference suggesting you copied this off of someone's mac setup?
About the errors, all players on the server are using the same pack, which makes me believe that the problem is local, and not due to the mod pack. As far as the mac reference, I'm not sure what that is, my work computer is a mac, so from time to time I'll log in on there. However when i posted that log it was from my PC.
Happened again, on a fresh install. Although, not totally fresh because it remembered my log in credentials.
Here is a screen shot of the lag dropping me down to 1-2 FPS. http://postimg.org/image/vnk8skzub/
All my setting are low in the video settling fyi.
Also, I happened to be up the the sky when this happened, but it is not limited to this, has happened all over.
Not at all, I feel it has something to do with cache data or something. Because If i log out then come back in, it is immediately better. (Even just to the main menu, not restarting the client)
Is there a lot of redstone/machines/etc. where you are in the world? Those such things are known to be major resource-hogs. Try going to a different place in the map, where you haven't built yet.

There isn't a lot have only been playing on this server for a couple weeks now. There definitely is automation, but there should be no reason for me to lag, because the computer next to me which has older parts, experiences no FPS lag at all. This computer has better ram, better processor, and a two series newer graphics card.
If that computer was experiencing FPS lag or anyone else who plays on this server, I could expect it to be that, but it is only on my computer.
No it does not. Only tested for 10-15 minutes and sometimes, I don't lag that soon while on the server. I feel it has something to do with RAM because my usage currently according to my task manager is 7gb (4bg from minecraft) I added up all other running process and that accumulated to less than 1 gb about 4.8 gb total running processes. Yet it displays 7/8 gb, so there is a cache problem in the ram perhaps.
I did a RAM burn in test, and it tested good
I did a GPU test and it tested good
I did a CPU test and it test good
Im back to not having a clue whats wrong, the other computer which is less powerful is fast enough to run the game, AND host the server previously. (Now I have a dedicated server computer)
Edit: After ending all process except for resource manager, not related to windows, my ram still is using about 1.9 gb RAM. I added up all windows process and its about .5 GB, so somewhere 1.4GB is being used.
Not sure if that is the root of the problem but its definitely not helping.
Er. I would have suggested memory leak in a mod but that's within the 4Gb, and if you're not lagging on a single player world with same mods, then that's not the issue.
But this would suggest issue with your computer rather than with minecraft, which also doesn't make sense cause if you make a new world with same mods, and assign it 4Gb, then it should be having the same effect on your computer.
I think I found the issue. It angers me how simple it was haha. I apparently forgot windows 101 and didn't have it running as administrator. It's crazy that this coold make that big of a difference, so far 6 hours with no fps drop... Frustrating all the work I've been through for it to be something so simple. I'll report back if fps drop returns, and if it doesn't ill make this thread as solved. Thanks for your help as everyones, I appreciate it!
