I am new to OSX and I may have made a mistake setting FTB up but it seems to be on the normal modded client as well. I'll be happy to supply additional details, but I wasn't sure what to add here. also made a video showing the issue.
Does it happen with vanilla (non-modded) world? Set up another profile in your launcher, and test it out with no mods. If no, then which pack are you using?

it was definitely the mouse I unplugged it and it immediately worked properly. It even was messing with my drawing programs, like firealpaca when I was using my wacom tablet
You might want to go to manufacturer's website and get latest drivers for the mac instead of the ones that came on the cd with the mouse. This might have been addressed already.
That's odd. Cause on the page you linked me it clearly says mac compatible. In fact, get the 10.9 driver: http://www.madcatz.com/downloads/
by selecting for OSX under software section.
