I'm playing Minecraft on my windows 8.1 laptop and it jumps around from 70 to 20 fps. I have optifine and my render distance is on 4. Smooth lighting is off, view bobbing is off, I don't know! Please don't say get a better PC. Thanks
what version of minecraft are you playing at if it doesnt fall under 20 frames than i dont see a problem the lagspikes could be solved if you activate vbo in options. and with optifine there should be an option to stabilize framerate.
