I'm trying to get Minecraft Forge 1.7.10 to load on my computer to do more testing on my modpack, but there's an issue. Whenever I try to load it, it acts like it's downloading files, then when it tries to launch the game, nothing happens when the launcher closes. There's no error message, no "Your game has crashed" message, nothing.



I've tried changing the launcher to the newer one, updating my Java, compatibility mode, and the newest version of Forge, but nothing's working. Can someone PLEASE help me?



Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit

Minecraft Version 1.7.10

Minecraft Forge version: 10.13.2.1291

Are you loading any mods with forge or just loading it by itself?

Yeah.

I think usually when something like the problem you're describing happens it's usually a mod conflict. Try some trial and error removing mods one by one and see if forge will work when something is removed. Then you know what mod(s) is causing the problem.

That doesn't seem to be it.

Try launching Forge just by itself without any mods and see if the problem persists.

I did, and now it freezes on startup.

What version of Java are you using?
