I've had Optifine for a few months now without any issue. Unfortunately now, a few days ago out of the blue it isn't working on multiplayer. When I go to my server list, every server is just pinging and eventually just says 'Cannot connect to server'. I've tried switching Optifine versions.. I've tried the 1.8.1, 1.8 and 1.7.10 - no luck. It works without my running the mod, though. So that's what I don't understand. I've checked my firewall and it doesn't look like anything significant is blocked- none of the Java. I'm also guessing it isn't the Java since, again, I can run it without the mod.

Is anyone else having this problem? or know of a way to fix it?

I haven't updated to Java 8 yet if that would make a difference.. I'm currently running Java 7 Update 51, and have been for quite a while.

Update to Java 8 - what do you know? It worked! Thank you. Even though it was such a simple thing to do, I didn't think of doing it myself. Oops? haha
