Right, I just had a discussion with one of my parents, and I'm gonna download just forge, BOP, MOR, Shaders, Optifine, and COFHcore for 1.7.10, and do a test on a new world. if I can get it working I'll then start downloading the other mods for 1.7.10 one at a time in priority order, and add each one before downloading the next and stop when it breaks or I've got all my mods lol. All the mods being there for 1.8 I think might be quite a while, so this seems like the best thing to do.
Thanks for discussing this with me and helping me work through it and think about it Zohar!
You went into the BoP config and you added all the MoR biomes to the list of the biomes that are to be generated...right?
Np, that actually sounds like a good plan. Test with mods that affect world generation only and once you're happy with the result, only then add the rest of the mods.
