My sister recently registered a minecraft premium account, but when she goes to login, it says "Sorry, we couldn't connect to our servers. Please make sure you are online and that minecraft is not blocked."
But the thing is, her laptops WiFi is on, I scanned her computer to make sure it didn't see it as a threat, I can sign her account in on my desktop perfectly, my account doesn't work on her computer either. I've even tried deleting minecraft completely and re-installing it from minecraft.net!
Side Note: If anyone is having troubles with uninstalling minecraft, you can get the minecraft.msi installer on minecraft.net and use it to uninstall minecraft. You might know it as the setup wizard from when you first started.
But please answer my question, and if my sidenote helped you un-install, then you can just leave a comment saying something like "thanks for helping me un-install minecraft" or something.

I clicked on Comodo (On homepage or whatever you call it, where your pc starts before entering tabs but you obviously get it) and I clicked scan but there was no threats found. So this eliminates the case of viruses and MIGHT eliminates whether it's putting firewalls up or not.
But how do you check to turn off firewalls just in case it is putting one up?

I tried to work out the problem by unblocking minecraft on comodo antivirus. I unblocked it and went on minecraft and it still said the same message. I checked Comodo again and 3 new files were blocked. They were all belonging to the minecraft launcher. I deleted comodo dragon and antivirus yet when we went in minecraft it still said the same thing. Can someone please explain why it's STILL happening?
