Alright I have a new drive on my computer with way more space. I want to move minecraft from the local disk to this new one. However I'm having a bit a trouble. The new minecraft laucher is different then what I'm used to. These no versions, config, or the usual folders. So i tried using the old launcher but it still goes to the local disk to find the minecraft stuff
And the main problem is that I have 1.7.2 lite-loader (which has world edit) and I definitely need that back as well. I dont want to re-download that and my mods as well.
If this is confusing just ask your question, I will answer as best as I can
You're best off redownloading all the actual MC stuff. What you should and can transfer is mods folder and configs folder, as well as all the saves.
So start up the new launcher, install forge and liteloader, and once you have all the profiles and folders setup, then copy the contents of the old saves and configs and mods folder into the new ones.
