So here's the deal. My minecraft has really bad fps. I have 6G ram invested into it, and I still get 30 fps while idling, 15-20 fps while sprint-jumping, and as low as 9 fps while in intense PVP combat. This really annoys me and it's not the server's fault. I get the same on single-player.

Here's my settings:

Settings
Smooth lighting- off
Mob shadows: off
Vsync: off
Framerate: Unlimited
Clouds: off
Graphics: fast
Render: 7-8 chunks
View Bobbing: Off
RAM allocated: 6G

Any tips? (Other than Optifine)

The thread was barely about the ram I allocated to my minecraft? Please explain what GPU is and how this affects the lag?

please post a dx diag, if you dont know how, hit the windows key and r at the same time then search dxdiag, hit save all information then post the newly made files contents on here

Lower your render distance, try with 4, it's still good and your minecraft will be lass laggy..
