Hi, I recently Googled my username, Jtpetch, just to see what would come up, and boy was i surprised. Turns out, there's some Spanish-speaking guy using MY account to play, and he's created AN ENTIRE YT CHANNEL AROUND IT! He's got a Google+ set up and everything! I messaged him, through YT and through Google+ about it just now, as well as reset my password and emailed Mojang about it.
So, now, I'm wondering if there's anything else I should do, and how he got my email AND password in the first place?

Ok, thanks. My password was, imo, pretty strong (caps, numbers, and a symbol), and I've never used any free cape forums. The crack may have let him use my name, but the server he was playing on was an SG server, plus he had my skin as well.

I'm still not sure that it was just someone using a crack. Can you see other people's skins on a cracked server?

You keep saying that his username is Jtpetch but on your 'Minecraft' section it says jtpetch with a lowercase j. This is most likely just cap-mis-matching but I thought I'd point it out.

(If this did work, there'd be a dinnerbone, notch, herobrine, etc running around)

Alright, so that's not the solution...uh...well, now that you've changed your password just wait to see if he puts out another video. If he does then that means that there may be something on your computer stealing your login credentials. Or you may have used a 3rd party launcher that stole them or something.

I guess we'll just wait and see then. And I'm almost completely sure there's nothing wrong with my computer, as I had done a scan with Norton, MalwareBytes, and Kaspersky AV, a few weeks ago, and nothing came up. And I'm using the standard Minecraft launcher.

in a cracked server you can put in any username to your cracked client, and it will get that persons skin. If you put in "maciejoe" you will get my skin, without even being logged into my account. as for the server, there are many MANY cracked sg servers, so it would be more of a surprise if it was not just someone who liked your skin on a cracked server
Does no one know about the dark side of Minecraft usernames and passwords? I forgot what the name was but it was a program had random MC usernames in a database which are probably taken from skin website or something and uses something called BRUTE FORCE (Had to emphasize xD) that uses every password combination possibly made in the world until they find a random username and password just for them. You were probably the lucky contestant who got picked. However IF you said you used a complex password that meant it would of taken him HOURS, possibly DAYS to find that password.
Brute Forcing a minecraft password is near impossible unless you find an exploit in mojang's account system. However, being a MC server admin, the enormously high number of stolen accounts I have seen is impressive!
This thread is going nowhere, Only Mojang can deal with account issues, and if an account is repeatedly stolen its Malware on your computer (or a very stupid password choice on your account)
