Hey guys this is the first post I have ever done, and I am trying to fix my problem with the mouse lag in 1.8.1.
In 1.7.10 I have no mouse lag, and in 1.8+ I have mouse lag. This is not to do with computer speed at all, just the game it's self (well that's my theory).
I have a constant 60 fps no matter where I'm looking and at 32 chunks, computer speed is not the problem. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I have this same problem, but I have it more in 1.7.10 than in 1.8. I find the problem is normally VSync or any other setting that is on high that can cause lag. No offense but 60 FPS is pretty bad for Vanilla Single Player though, so if you have any windows processes running (any programs running in the background) then maybe close those. Enjoy your stay on the forums BTW.
Actually 60fps constant is good. My graphics card does not like giving more for any process, every process that I have is 60fps, period. Vsync has nothing to do with it. I have changed all the in game options and none of them help with my problem.
I think I have figured it out. When I started up my computer today, I stopped all processes and restarted explorer.exe. Then I started minecraft, I have no mouse lag. I will try to look into which process actually causes it, then I will post back with what I figured out.

The culprit is taskhost.exe.
