'Ello, all. I'm looking to record some MC footage for YouTube, and I want to clear out any arguments that aren't needed. For reference, my PC is a Minotaur II by CybertronPC, running the latest version of 64bit Java. In my 1.6.4 profile, this is what comes up:
-Xmx2G
-XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC
-XX:+CMSIncrementalMode
-XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy
-Xmn512M
I know what the -Xmx & -Xmn are (max & min RAM for MC), I'm just not sure about the other three items. Every time I close MC, the launcher does say:
"Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future release."
I don't have any errors during play, or when opening/closing the program; I just wanted to know if those other three commands can go. Thanks in advance for any info.
Don't worry about the "Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future release." warning, its just stating that the argument is going to be pointless in the future, but won't do any harm if its left in
