For the past while now, I've been getting a strange bug when I play Minecraft both in single player and on a server I run as well. Sometimes in the middle of playing, the screen will flash for a split second, and then the texture rendering will get lagged up (before the flash the game runs perfectly). Also, if I continue to play with the textures bugging out the game will eventually crash, and an error message will pop up bringing me to this support site (my graphics card is an NVIDIA GTX 770).
EDIT: I forgot to mention, this is in Minecraft version 1.7.2 (I have to use this version in order to play with my friends who aren't able to run later versions).

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?
