If it is only using 900MB Ram you do not need to allocate any more to it because it isn't going to use more. I'd scale it back to 1024 MB. Also, we need way more information, like your FPS, if it is stuttering or consistently low, and your actual PC specs like CPU.

Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4150 CPU @ 3.50 GHz
Installed memory (RAM) - 8.00 GB
System type - 64-bit
I was usually getting 60-140 FPS
But now it is 25-45 FPS and sometime goes all the way up to 80-90 FPS for about 1 second and then falls back down to 25-45 making it VERY annoying to play.
I've tried recording MC and it will reduce the FPS half way
So if I am playing at 60-80 FPS I will then reach 20-40 FPS when recording with Bandicam. Just wondering if you knew anything about this.
It is normal to have lower fps's while recording because the recording software is using resources to write the video files. If you are willing to spend a little money dxtory, with the right settings, uses very little resources and should keep around your regular playing fps.
