Every single time I start Minecraft, I have to have multiple icons on my desktop. Even though I transferred all the files it downloads repeatedly to a document, it still refuses to work without them on my desktop! I am very irritated by this, because it drives me insane. I am using Minecraft 1.8.1.
What are the file names of the icons? They wouldn't be two folders titled 'tools' and 'runtime' and a text file titled "nativelog'
would they? If they are, move the launcher to your minecraft folder, delete the desktop files, then make a shortcut that points to the launcher for the desktop.
