@mr_rain77, to my knowledge he installed it using the latest version of java (as I had told him to do in this post). This was his first post on the initial issue he was having (not being able to open the installer at all). I helped him as far as I could before instructing him to ask here about his current problem.
@anaelisa9375, it might be a good idea as well to post a crash report as well, reports can be found in %appdata%\.minecraft\crash-reports (just copy and paste that into the Run bar and press enter).
The most recent log should be either at the top or bottom of the inside of the folder. If you're not sure if it's the right log, run Minecraft again to repeat the crash and check the logs folder again.

Ok so...go to launcher, but before you hit play, in bottom left corner, hit Edit Profile. Once the window pops, on launcher visibility option select Keep Launcher Open. Uncheck snapshots if they're checked and make sure game version is indeed release-1.7.10-Forge xx.xx.x.12xx
Hit save profile. Then hit play. After you stall, and game doesn't come up, go back to the launcher, which should now still be open, and click on the second tab on it, the one that says Launcher Log. Click anywhere in it, hit ctrl+A to select everything and then ctrl+C and then back to this forum and paste the output, preferably in spoilers like so:

your paste here
That works too, you can do it either way Anaelisa. Using the launcher seems better as you can also make sure that it's not just a minor setting that needs tweaked.

I had the same problem, i was using Java 8, I heard some things about older forge versions having problems with Java 8, so I switched back to Java 7 and it worked :D.. Hope that helps
Interesting, I had heard that too, and that could be it. Although he should have the the latest Forge version (10.13.2.1291 for MC 1.7.10). Still worth a try though. I'm running Java 8 U31 64 bit and haven't had a single issue. Anaelisa, maybe try this version of java before reverting to the older version, it's the "offline" 64-bit version I'm using currently and what I used in the Windows 8.1 test I did.

Anaelisa, I need to launcher log and game output AFTER you try to start the game (and fail). This is the one from just starting up the launcher and that doesn't help.
This is why I gave you instructions on how to keep the launcher open after you try to start the game, so you can go back and copy the logs.
Anyone who had the same problem, and worked, please tell me the version of java your using, and the link.
Go Here and download the Windows Offline (64-bit) version and install it. I'm currently using it successfully on 8.1. Current version I'm using (and the one you will be downloading) is Java 8 u40.

HELP PLEASE REPLY!
How exactly did you install it?
Via the installer?
Manually?
