I a looking for help in regards to an error my son is getting on his minecraft.
He tries to download it to his computer and gets the same error over and over.
I have tried to have him uninstall both java and Minecraft and re-install.
He currently has the most up to date Java downloaded to his computer
Attached is the .PNG he sent me of the error in his log.
he is using the following type? of computer
Intel Pentium® D CPU 3.4Ghz 3.4 Ghz
RAM 2.00 GB
32 bit operating
any help would be appreciated. I bought his Minecraft and the computer for CHristmas and he has yet to enjoy the game.
I contacted Mojang and they referred me to these forums
Can you post the error log mentioned? That should help us out.
Also, it may be your computer specs (although I'm not a spec guy). Specifically that you are using a 32-bit operating system. Don't count me on that though.
On that computer he will not be able to play any version of minecraft after 1.7.2 due to a bug in the final version of his video driver.
On that note, that computer is very old. If you were able to play Minecraft, it wouldn't be a very pleasant experience. You can probably build a computer for around $300-400 that will be able to run Minecraft decently.
