Today I was trying to make a little water fall where ALL the water stays where I placed it. I tried a few commands like /setblock x y z fence_gate 0 (The 0 to make it invisible) But it didn't work like it does with other blocks to making them invisible. All I need is just a little water fall that's 3x4x1 and not 3x4x3. Any ideas/commands/plugins to use?
I was looking at that and I tried to use the command but on my server nothing happened. And that won't work because I need player to be able to pass through like string but completely invisible.

you could also place ice where you want the water to be the use torches 2 blocks way to melt them. As long as you do not break or place any blocks on any six sides of the water this is an easy method.
