So just recently my Minecraft has started to bug out. Ever time I open the launcher up it's almost like the launcher freezes at a certain point. Like this:
Now I can still click around the area where the buttons are. Such as the "Play" button, or this "Edit Profile" button. However whenever I click edit profile the window is just plain white. No words, errors, just plain white. I've tried re-installing it many times however that doesn't seem to have any affect. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with .NET framework or an outdated Java version, so I would appreciate some help.
After unpacking, it should say starting, and then cleaning up.
Since it doesn't do that, the unpack doesn't finish. This could be antivirus program related. I'm not sure what else would cause the unpack to fail or get stuck. (You do have enough disk space, right?)
Try disabling your antivirus and make an exception for Minecraft. Sometimes the antivirus blocks the connection and makes it stop. This usually happens with very strict antiviruses,
