I actually had that problem the other day when I uninstalled my Nvidia driver to test out my Intel HD drivers. (Long story short: Didn't work)I reinstalled my drivers, and that worked.
1. Do you have a laptop? Yes? Get a new Laptop/PC is the best solution. It helps in the long run, too. OR if you don't want/need a new machine, update your graphics drivers to match your GPU/CPU. No laptop? See 2.
2. If you're running a PC, what GPU do you have? Make sure to find the up to date drivers from their website and make sure it is compatible with your GPU. If not, you won't be having a very good day.

The GPU in the OPs computer is a VIA/S3, it will not be able to run minecraft whatever drivers are used
Wait you were trying to play minecraft on a computer with 1GB of ram and a sempron 3000... That CPU is ancient, 10 1/2 years ago... Also usually minecraft uses 1/2-1 GB for the game alone.
EDIT: I use .3 GB of ram idling with nothing but kernal processes and google chrome which only has this tab open...
Ok so i'm gonna cut straight to it... I have a windows 7 32 - bit.
And so i download minecraft and pull up the launcher and press play
for the first time. Then something pops up saying error while trying to
render aspects of the game. It suggested that i update my graphics drivers.
So i clicked fix problem and did as it instructed. Next step was to come here
and do as some of you professionalists say. It told me to give this link:
http://paste.ubuntu.com/9874281/ and i told you my problem like it wanted
me to. Please help i really wanna be able to play MineCraft! Thank you.
