Okay so, I installed 1.7.2. Forge and placed the CodeChickenCore and NEI jar into the mods folder. Then I ran minecraft using the 1.7.2 forge profile, and when it loads up, it proceeds to crash. I've also tried taking out NEI and CCC and placing only Optifine in the mods folder, and that runs perfectly fine, so I think the problem lies with NEI.
