Hi, I am just another random Minecraft player. I recently had problems, but I'll start from the beginning: I was playing MC on mac for a long time, and when I got a new PC, I downloaded the game for it (The free version that is available if you enter your username). I'm not sure if this is what caused it, but it might. I got into downloasding maps, and have downloaded a few maps and one resource pack, but on some maps my game freezes for a few seconds in very short intervals. About two seconds of game time and three seconds of being frozen, then two seconds of game time, three seconds of being frozen, so on. It only happens on some maps, and it happened on a map I created. Help/Thoughts?
Edit: It is not an illegally downloaded version of Minecraft. When you go to https://minecraft.net/, it says on the right "Already bought the game? Download it here!", and I did just that.
Cracked Minecraft launchers are never a good idea, try downloading the regular Minecraft launcher off of minecraft.net if you don't have a Minecraft account you can buy one. Also if you are running Minecraft 1.8, try turning Alternate Blocks = OFF, VBOS = ON, set Graphics to Fast and try lowering your render distance.
Cracked launchers are not allowed to be helped in this Forum. Then is your Minecraft not responding?
I'm not sure what a "cracked launcher" is, but it is my Minecraft that is doing these freezes, a legitimate copy of Minecraft off of https://minecraft.net/, and occasionally completely not responding.

I got the Minecraft from https://minecraft.net/, it says on the right "Already bought the game? Download it here!". And I'll see if your suggested setting will help. Thank you King of That Glorious Metal!
