So this problem has been happening for more than a few months now, and I just cannot take it anymore. For miles around my house most mobs, post passive and hostile, refuse to spawn. I will occasionally find a single spider or zombie in a dark cave, or a lone sheep near my crops, but that is basically it. I like my territory lit, so I have quite a bit of torches placed around, but not enough to where hostile mobs couldn't spawn. Not even the Nether has a single mob in it, from what I've seen. I have my difficulty set to normal 24/7, and I have checked and rechecked my difficulty several times to make sure that it was not on peaceful. Any thoughts or similar happenings?
How would I fix this?
