hey everyone! So about a month or two ago, Minecraft started glitching. It appeared to be a client-side issue, where all the chunks would randomly start flashing (Pics below). It has become more and more frequent, to the point where I can't play for very long on some worlds because the chunks not loading is so extreme that I can't tell where any blocks or mobs are that are around me. I have an Intel Core i7-3630 CPU at 2.40 GHz with 8 gigs of RAM. I do not use optifine. I have tried every solution I could find, from lowering render distance, to up- or downgrading allocated RAM, to uninstalling Minecraft, to changing VBO settings.
Yeah. I've tried that a few times. It reloads all the chunks and everything runs smoothly for about 30 seconds, but then they all go back to glitching.
What?
Please don't just suggest people report anything as a bug, this is not a bug, its most likly an issue on the players end
I would agree, simply because I have only found a few other people who have reported things similar, but they are all using Optifine and they fixed it by changing optifine settings. I am fairly convinced that this is client-side, although I can't seem to find anything that could be the cause.
I apologize for the confusion, I simply meant to use the site as a way to find help faster. Seems to be a more reliable and mature community there.
the bug reporting site is a place to report BUGS in the game like duplication glitches and other things that should not happen, from what i have seen of the bug site is that 80% are directed to here or the irc help channel as they are not game bugs, but problems with the users PC
Update: I am still having this problem. From my various tests, it seems that this bug is often triggered by me mining a block. As soon as the block breaks, surrounding chunks sometimes disappear, and if I try to mine another block, even if it is not visible, the condition worsens and more chunks disappear. Also, I have started using a resource pack [http://resourcepack.net/dandelion-resource-pack/], and that seems to keep the glitch to a minimum. When I use it, the vast majority of near chunks are fine. However, as soon as I remove the pack, almost all chunks vanish, and instead of flashing, stay gone so that I have to restart minecraft to see anything.

I made my own shader pack, by the way.
