Since the 1.8 update I've been getting a really Low FPS so I installed Optifine, it does help me a lot but since i installed it It's causing a massive block lag that wont go away in all my worlds, I have to wait like 5 to 10 second before the block dissapears. I know is Optifine causing it but any of you has a suggestion?
Are you on something other than a windows computer? Optifine is made for windows only.
That's like saying Minecraft is made for Windows only, which is completely false; Minecraft runs on any computer that supports Java and there is nothing about Optifine that makes it only work for Windows; I've also seen people claim that you can't use mods on Macs but that is similarly false.
The lag is just due to extremely slopping coding on Mojang's part; I myself get terrible block lag with or without Optifine unless I set the render distance very low, 2-4 chunks, and even then walking over a chunk boundary and generating new chunks is enough to cause the internal server to lag; this should be pretty self-explanatory:

For comparison, this is the server log from playing on 1.6.4 for several hours - not a single warning, and the only ones I've seen were likely when I found a "mega forest" biome and even then I didn't even notice any lag; there is no long "recovery" period; being near a village at night can cause some "flickering" of blocks when I break them due to zombie pathfinding (which is a fairly significant and annoying issue in vanilla but I modded in a patch) but no noticeable delay, nor does the server lag enough to output warnings (only when it falls behind by 2000 ms or more):

Here is another comparison I made after standing still for several minutes (I took these from an older thread, hence why I used 1.8-pre2, but even the latest version doesn't run any better; in fact, every 1.8 snapshot/release runs more or less the same; Java 8 also made no difference); note the "S avg_tick_ms", which should be less than 50:
(note also that 1.6.4 always loads 10 chunks from the player, equivalent to a render distance of 10 chunks in 1.7.4+, when they made render distance also affect chunk loading, and I had 1.8 set to 8 chunks here, meaning that 1.6.4 is loading about 53% more chunks, plus more entities due to the mob spawning bug with lower render distances in 1.7.4+, and 1.6.4 is modded, so 1.8 really runs much worse than indicated here, never mind what happens if I try to mod in bigger caves and ravines like my 1.6.4 mod (it actually made the server fall behind by over 400000 ms) or even just the 1.6.4 cave generation).
Basically, the best way to reduce server lag in 1.8 is to lower render distance, which as mentioned above directly affects chunk loading as well; half the render distance loads just 1/4 as many chunks (though the server appears to generate a minimum of 8 chunks from the player). You may be getting worse lag with Optifine because you are increasing render distance to take advantage of a higher framerate, but Optifine doesn't optimize server performance, only rendering (this includes "chunk loading" which really means building the display data for the chunks, actual chunk loading/generation is done server-side and shouldn't affect FPS unless you have a single-core CPU).
That's like saying Minecraft is made for Windows only, which is completely false; Minecraft runs on any computer that supports Java and there is nothing about Optifine that makes it only work for Windows; I've also seen people claim that you can't use mods on Macs but that is similarly false.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
But I meant Optifine was made for windows, oops.
