HELP! My mom gave us her old (2007) Windows vista - 32 bit computer, and i tried installing minecraft tonight, and got the "video driver outdated" error. Here is the text of my dxDiag: http://paste.ubuntu.com/9842726/
Does anyone have any other ideas? This laptop will solely be used for minecraft by a 7 year old - i really don't want to have to invest any money in a 7 year old computer.
Those drivers you linked are not for your computer, DO NOT randomly try to install any drivers if you don't know if they are right, they can potentially do damage
The 2nd one (32 bit) worked! We are happily loaded into Minecraft. It's a little slower (as expected), but it works! This buys us time to save up to get our son a computer that is better!

I searched this forum, and found this link: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=22167 - it also didn't work - i got "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software."

ModeratorTry these drivers, the Catalyst Software Suite http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=Legacy1&os=Windows Vista - 64 (64bit)
if that says incorrect windows version use the one here http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=Legacy1&os=Windows Vista - 32 (32bit)
But please do note that laptop is under the requirments for minecraft https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/325948-minecraft-system-requirements so it may either not run at all, or run badly
Thanks!
