When I double click Minecraft to load the launcher, I noticed it was taking a lot longer than usual. I updated Java, reset my internet and my laptop, ran anti malware, ccleaner, adjusted a few options on my computer to make it faster, and cleared files like %temp% and "prefetch." All of that, sped my laptop up a lot and everything opens very fast and loads fast, but Minecraft still takes a while to open, I used the stopwatch app on my phone to see how long it was actually taking and it took exactly 29.76 seconds. I even ran speedtest and my internet is fine, ping is 47, download was 1.5 mbps, that is usually what it is. If anyone knows how I can fix this to make it load up and open faster, please tell me. Thank you!
I was trying to play online, that is all I really play now.
Like I said, it takes a while to load, if you look at the development console, you can see exactly what it's doing. You're going to have to be patient. It's going to take a while to load because of how much it has to load. If you tried loading older versions, it would most likely be instant. But for versions like release 1.8, it's going to take a second.
Never did I say he used mods. If you had read it properly you would have realized that I had suggested that he STAY AWAY from modded minecraft if he is that impatient that he can't wait a mere 30 seconds.

It's going to take a while because Minecraft is a pretty big game, and the launcher is loading all of that. Plus a little extra.

That's the average time it takes for unmodified 1.8 to start up. He never mentioned mods. Not everyone uses mods.
