i had an fps problem recently and I fixed it but I just had the same problem and the solution is not working. I usually run around 200 frames but then i dropped to 29-30 frames. Something is limiting my frames please help
Yes I have allocated 2 gigs of ram to my minecraft

It's not because I have a bad computer. I have been getting like 200-300 fps on minecraft but then my frames dropped to 29-30, something limiting my frames. I can run other games without lag fine
Happens on singeplayer and multiplayer. It seems that going to nvidia control panel and restoring the options to default fixes it, but then it just happens again the following day

1) What are your computer specs?
2) Did you have anything running while you were playing?
3) What programs/software have you downloaded recently (or right before your fps drop happened?).
4) Have you allocated RAM to your Minecraft?
5) Do you have a program like CCleaner? (I ask this because CCleaner helps remove extra clutter from your computer. Less clutter = faster computer)
