I can't afford a really good computer so I bought a dell vostro laptop 300 series .. I know some of the specs here
graphics card : Intel HD graphics 4400
RAM: 4gb
OS: windows 8
i just want to ask will minecraft not lag on this ?? Should I buy minecraft

i have tried the demo and it lags a bit ... i get 45-70 fps but it drops and fluctuates because of which I get lag spikes
That seems like a good enough computer. After that, it all comes down to the settings you use. The higher some values are, the lower the framerate.
If you do start lagging then I can recommend a good mod to help increase the performance: OptiFine. You can see the features, learn how to install it, and download it all here:
