I am on my new computer, trying to play Minecraft on Windows 8. After a minute or two of playing it simply crashes and says "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION"! If anyone knows how to fix this or if it can be fixed, let me know. It works on my old computer, so I don't see what the problem is! I've tried re-installing Minecraft. It doesn't work. I've tried re-installing Java. doesn't work. And yes, I've tried turning it off and on again, and it doesn't work! If you know anything about troubleshooting Minecraft, please help. This might have helped, but I have Windows 8, not Vista.

Please guys, I really need to fix this as I'm going to be making Minecraft videos soon and I can't do that until I get this fixed!!!

You need to provide more information "Exception Access Violation" just means an error occurred. We can't help you unless we know WHICH error occurred.



Where's the rest of the information that the launcher would have?

I will try to post that info as soon as I can, I'm currently on my old computer! Thanks!
