So im so far in over my head and am completely lost at this point, I restored windows due lag issues I was having with mc and ive been wanting to for quiet some time, so i updated graphics card via the asus device manager, Im on a windows 8 Asus Q400A. I have downloaded java and java run time, also have uninstalled and reinstalled both java. the exact error im getting is "Sorry, but we couldn't connect to our server. Please make sure that you are online and that minecraft is not blocked." (SocketException: Connection reset) I have added exception on my windows fire wall, I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling mc. Please help me out someone, this really has me stumped, all i can think is that there must be another blocker or compatibility issue going on. Thank you. Also this is happening when i try to log into client so i have no crash reports or anything.
