I..don't know. I think it's something about java that's freaking out. The whole heap memory thing appeared because I think java 8 handles this automatically and when you switched to java 7, it went back to default limit which was way too low. I don't know how much manually forcing it higher helped in the end. Try java 8.
So I have lost some items and dont want to go through the pain of the process it took so I was looking to enable cheat mode. I am aware of the process of the inventory menu and the world/global button with the W option next to the recipe/cheat/utility option. I have clicked on world and highlighted the W next to the cheat mode option and it still wont let me cheat anything in its stuck in recipe mode. This is on my server.
Well you can always temporarily go /gamemode creative
do what you need to do and then switch back to /gamemode survival
But as a server admin, you should really get the ability to do this in an easier fashion. Normally this is the realm of bukkit plugins, but since you're on a forge based server, you can run ForgeEssentials:
Yeah I figured it out how to switch in and out of creative. I am trying to get some bees in the game and the only ones it will let me cheat in are drones and princess of the basic breeds and thats it. The breed I want is in the game (Industrious and Imperial) and in creative mode they are no where to be found.
That's most likely deliberate by the author to prevent that kind of...bypass of the progression Or maybe to just avoid griefing on the servers, I don't know what they do so you'd have to ask the author really.
Ack. And it says it requires bd 1.4.4 which you just updated cause of gendustry.
Judging from the github: https://github.com/bdew/pressure/commits/mc1710
there should have been an update to 1.6 bdlib compatibility at some point but I don't know where the file is released. Might want to contact the author and report the error, see if he can get you an update release version.
No you already have the right bdlib. Reverting would require going to an older version of gendustry, bdlib and buildcraft, in order for it to be compatible with this mod.
Or you could just ask the author.
And none of my memory maxed out in the task manager.

http://minecraft.curseforge.com/mc-mods/74735-forge-essentials-74735
and change gamemode only for yourself temporarily.
If that is way too big for you, you can also go for:
http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/forgeservertools
which is a lot smaller and has a permissions module (http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/220714-servertools-permission).
This one also has a backup module which I'd strongly advise you to look into. If you're going for Forge Essentials instead, you can use http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/225658-aromabackup
As a server admin, I'd also look into

He does have a jenkins link.
