I have searched the forums for similar topics and did find a few, unfortunately once the poster figured it out, they either don't reply or just says that they got it. No one that I can find actually posts what they did to fix it.



So here is my problem, I am trying to get the Mega Plants Mod working for my kids. I have all of the forge versions for Minecraft 1.7.x installed. All of them display the context in the lower left hand corner and they all display the 3 Forge Mods. I have dropped the mod jar in the mod folder. When I start everything up, the mod does not show in the list nor does the Forge context change from 3 mods installed. Reading other posts, it seems that versioning issues could be the culprit, which is why I installed all of the Forge versions for Minecraft 1.7.x. This didn't change anything. The game directory in the profile matches the path to where my files are excluding the /mods/ portion. I am running out of ideas, can anyone point me in the right direction or share what they did to correct the issue if and when they have experienced the same issue?

I just tried a different mod and it loaded fine. So I know or would assume that Forge is operational.

Can I have a link to the mod? Other than that it may not be forge compatible.

Go to mc launcher, hit edit profile, select keep launcher open then hit save profile. Select your profile again on bottom left and hit play. Once the game starts, go back to launcher and copy paste contents of launcher log and game output tabs here.
