Ok, so I've been trying to download Optifine, and I swear I just can't ind my minecraft.jar! I'm pretty sure I'm looking or the file thingies correctly.. Here are some screen shots showing that I can't find them. If it's done a different way just tell me, and any help is appreciated!!

The 1.8.1.jar file IS your Minecraft.jar but why do you need it? Just click on the file that was downloaded from optifine and click install. Does it for you!
its not been called the minecraft.jar for a while now, the jar is now version number.jar, so the 1.8.1.jar in the case of the image you provided (you have windows set to hide extensions for known filetypes, whiich is why the .jar is missing from the name)
(Maybe I was just doing it wrong?)
