Ok so a little background this machine is not new but not ancient either. I brought it back out of hiding today, installed a BRAND NEW Solid State Drive and BRAND NEW Corsair 8GB of RAM all running on an Intel Core i3 2.53ghz 64 bit fresh install of Win7Pro. Are there better ABSOLUTELY but this is not a cheap piece of junk either. So with that said MC runs like crap on this thing!! I have changed Xms and Xmx to 2048M each I have given javaw a high priority and with a fresh install there is nothing else installed on this machine. I have a EXTREMELY fast internet from Xfinity running 105mbps down and 20mbps up (actual is roughly 96 down and 18 up). I am connected to a my router with a 5ghz connection and my other computers play running MUCH faster but with no where close to the specs of this thing.

Moderatorthe only thing you failed to mention is what dictates fps, and thats your graphics card/chipset, what GPU do you have?
posting a dxdiag log would make life easier for us to see what your system has
