I have the Lenovo Y50 (Intel i7 4710HQ 2.5GHz, GTX 860M, 8GB RAM) and i used to have 60 fps constant. Now I am getting 30 fps EXACTLY, no higher. I had my fps limited to 60 frames and its still that! The only thing I have mods-wise is Optifine. Anyone have answers? This makes it really hard to play PvP on servers.
Why do you have your fps limited to 60? Why don't you push it up to unlimited? That's what i did and i'm barely getting ANY lag and 64bit java helps aswell when i had 32bit java i was only getting 1-10 fps before i got optifine but still then i was only getting around 10-15 fps but when i downloaded 64bit java the fps went up to the 100's
how do i check my java? but, the thing i used to get INCREDIBLE frames, now kapoot, 30. and nothing higher, as if its locked. i just got a new mouse, and i swear that wouldnt have an effect, right?
Go to your control panel than select java then click the java tab when the java app run time setting box comes up click view. (this is taken straight from a google search XD) The mouse shouldn't affect the fps on minecraft.
EDIT: i went to try and uninstall the 32-bit but it doesnt show under "uninstall programs"
I didn't need to uninstall it all i did was download 64bit java and bam
... correct?
