So we all have Technic, right? That amazing modpack launcher? When playing on LAN with my friend, my skin doesn't load. I look hideous in the picture (i know my skin is terrible, im working on it) but on his screen, I just look like a Steve with 2 tails. Just imagine the derpiness. But for some reason this really annoys me so I want to try and get it fixed. When I play my normal 1.6.4 installation it works fine. But when I play Technic on 1.7.10, it doesn't work. I'm using a heavily modified version of Byrd's Sports Pack, but I tried it will all my modpacks on Technic and none of them seem to work. Does Minecraft hate me or am I just doing something wrong?

Are you ...actually using a mod to change your appearance or is this a custom skin that you're loading into your account?

Either all the modpacks that you have tried have some client mod in common that's interfering with your appearance or the technic launcher itself is to blame as your friend has no issues seeing the skin that you have. I don't really know anything about the technic launcher so I can't troubleshoot this for you, but I suggest you ask on their forums, as they have their own troubleshooting team.
I'd start with the technic launcher forum, if you think there are no mods that are in common in all the modpacks you'd tried:

and they can point you to a different subforum if it isn't the launcher at fault.
