I have recently bought a ibook g4 12'' os x 10.5.8 1.33ghz PPC G4 with 1.5 gigs of RAM for general purposes. I also did not want to spend so much money on a computer.. lol
I was wondering if it was still possible to run minecraft on these nowadays?
I am aware of being able to do something with java 6, so that its able to run Minecraft since it no longer runs on java 5.
The thing is, I'm not too sure how to do that since I'm not a genius with computers.
Not to long ago, I was in the Army and I am heading back in during the month of march. As i go back, I'm leaving my younger sister behind. I was wanting to play Minecraft with her while I'm away. It'll be a way for me to bond with her since she loves the game but has never played it even though she has her own computer.
If I'm able to get Minecraft running on this G4, ill be buying the game for the both of us.
If anybody can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. God bless
