You can't tell me that this rig cannot handle this game cranked. I got a ton of lag fight after I created my first world. Now, I know this processor is not the strongest out there, but it should be fine.
Any thoughts?
This is unmodded in every way, no custom textures/skins, nothing at all.
1. I run SSD's, you don't defragment those
2. I just installed Windows and everything else (drivers etc) already scanned, no results.
3. See 2, I'm quite good with computers.
4. That can hurt you, depending. Nothing runs on my machine without me knowing it as well.
5. Nope, not using that.
Don't mean to come off rude, but I'm really tired and annoyed at this, so I really do apologize. lots of overtime for 3 weeks now so i'm at my wits end.
I'm also dumbfounded that any other game (Shadow of Mordor, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes) fun flawlessly and this doesn't. I should have mentioned that I know my way around computers.

load minecraft and press F3, what graphics card is shown on the right?
also make sure you don't have minecraft set to limit FPS
also, more ram does not mean more fps, setting it at 1gb is plenty for normal minecraft
I know, but I have 16 gig for other purposes, I didn't build this as a minecraft rig no way im going to run out of ram easily though. I have minecraft set to start with 8 gig of ram allocated.
My 970 is shown when I press F3, and I have had the "limiter" set to unlimited.
Weird, my A8 + 640GT can run it more than great, and both of them are terrible compared to yours. Make sure your A10 Driver is properly installed, as Minecraft is focused a lot CPU wise, not really leaning too towards GPU.
It doesn't hurt to have some more GB for Minecraft, my fps can increase 200% from going 1GB to 3GB, so having 8 won't effect it negatively, unless it would be running itself too hard, which isn't possible for 16GB new RAM lol
At 1 gig it was not helping. still seemed to be a botleneck for whatever reason. which doesn't make sense because for the last ~2 years I never messed with the amount of ram allocated for Minecraft and it ran fine. Actually, I only had 3 gigs before I build this rig. We all know how much windows can use :/

Also, try and run some other games, do you have some GPU-CPU heavy games that you could test?
Since you mention it, I just tried to go into Catalyst Control Center and I got an error I have never seen. Since this forum won't let me insert a pic in this post for whatever reason (not high enough post count for a new member maybe?) I attached it at the bottom. I am running the omega driver however. GPU drivers are also up to date.
I run:
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor with the HD texture pack @1080p, ultra settings
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes @1080p, ultra settings
Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion @1080p, ultra settings
FEAR 3 @1080p, ultra settings
Borderlands 2 @1080p, ultra settings
and those all run just fine. There are some more but I think you get the idea.

Hmm, since those games are GPU heavy, it makes sense they will work better, as Minecraft is really CPU leniant.
To fix your issue ...
That could happen if drivers have been damaged. I suggest you unistall CCC and also the drivers. Then use Amd cleanup utitlity which will clean remaining mess. If needed delete the Amd folder manually from c: drive and the restart your computer. After that, install the newest amd drivers.

I really appreciate the help.
This thread shows you how: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/support/unmodified-minecraft-client/tutorials-and-faqs/1871637-tutorial-allocate-more-memory-for-minecraft
=Defragmenting your hard drive
=Scanning for viruses
=Unisntalling useless programs
=Terminating unwanted processes
=Downloading Advanced Systemcare 8
Did that, got up to 40-60 FPS with the help of optifine.

Ugh. Minecraft lol.
What are your "video settings" in the game?

Video settings are mixed, mostly quality though. screenshots of all that tomorrow. Also, shouldn't matter at all really.

Moderatortry just for sake of trying to put it down to 1GB
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download To get the latest drivers, as if you used the ones on the disc, those are usually outdated to high hell.
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5209#dl Here is a driver for your GPU, never hurts to check.
Also, try and run some other games, do you have some GPU-CPU heavy games that you could test?
