I recently built a PC and installed Minecraft on it. Made a world, everything was smooth and fine so I figured I would install a texture pack and some shaders. When I went back onto Minecraft my character is looking at the floor and if I budge my mouse even a little bit the view shoots up to the sky. It's as if the sensitivity is on 1000000%. If I try to move the mouse down a bit it then looks at the floor and freezes for a few seconds. I've tried uninstalling/deleting Minecraft and doing a fresh install but this problem still persists. I've never had this problem before.
EDIT: I can literally walk around in Minecraft just fine (as in everything is smooth) while I look at the floor, but the mouse sensitivity is still ridiculous in game. Also, enabling fullscreen doesn't put Minecraft at full screen, it only fills half the screen.
Could anyone help me?
EDIT: SOLUTION: Found this youtube comment, seemed to fix it for me.
"This did not work for me. i did find the thing that worked for me:
1) Right click the EXE of the game in question.
2) Go to properties
3) Go to the compatibility tab
4) Check "run this program in compatibility mode for" and select "Windows 8."
5) Check "disable scaling on high DPI settings."
6) Check "run this program as an administrator."
