I'm running Minecraft 1.8.1 with Launcher ver. 3.5. I installed fml-1.8-8.0.16.1021-1.8 and got the successful install notice, however when pick the fml profile and version it says its downloading something and then i get this message

Can someone please help me with this?

I'm assuming the game crashes, do you have any mods in your mods folder? can you post any more logs / a more complete log?

Full forge is out, albeit in beta form. Stop using just fml.

no other mods, i had modloader installed and then unstalled everything. i don't even have a mod folder, i feel like the .minecraft folder is messed up
