I went to create a world in 1.8, as I've recently upgraded from 1.7 and all my worlds up till now were in previous versions. Before I continue, I have not tested this in any world type besides Default and superflat, in both survival and creative. The first world loads up nicely, until I fly around to look for a nice spot to build. That's when I see this, http://gifmaker.me/files/download/home/20150111/14/SK3ohq0gCTseAGwk3VzDxz/output_LNX1IE.gif
So I delete the world and start up a new one, and when it loads the first thing I see is
I don't know if it's just my computer, an issue with Default world generator, or an issue with all the world generators, however my friends have loaded superflat worlds without this issue, and so have I so I don't think superflat mode is affected but I'm unsure about the other modes. Whatever it is, if it's fixable that would be wonderful, thanks.
Your links give me "Error establishing a database connection" when I click them; I can only see the pictures in the spoilers; the latter looks like a manifestation of MC-62958 "Massive Visual Glitching with Chunk distance over a level the graphics card cannot handle (AMD only)", which can also affect chunk rendering; if this is your problem you need to update your graphics card drivers and/or lower your render distance; high render distance also causes very long world load times and what you show in your first spoiler.
Note that if the above bug report describes your problem there is nothing wrong with any of your worlds, it is purely visual.

Oh, okay. Thanks for helping me.

I was fine with that because it happens sometimes, what are you gonna do the world loads up fine just after. Not this time, I spawn in a snow biome, right next to this: http://gifmaker.me/files/download/home/20150111/14/6Tp3ixqLixKR2xMlzC4ssE/output_ccufHG.gif
I delete the world and try a third time. When I spawn I'm in a plains biome, and I see this monster here:

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Oh, okay. Thanks for helping me.
