I'm a new one here but not to Minecraft. I've been able to fix problems in the past but now, I'm stumped.
What I have is an old 1.2.5 jar that has Forge installed AND working under Windows Vista. Now I have a Ubuntu 14.04 PC that I'd like to play 1.2.5 on. However, when I use the new launcher it always installs a FRESH copy of 1.2.5 over the one I have, thus making it an UN-modded non-forge version.
How would someone go about moving an older 1.2.5 MC working version WITH mods over to a Ubuntu PC using the new launcher AND have it work properly?
Any and ALL help is GREATLY appreciated!!
Thanks in advance!
Paul
