Hi i just bought minecraft about a week ago,and i haven't been able to play since then.I search on the web but it seems no one have the same problem and/or everything i tried to solved didn't work help me please.

So im play for about 2 to 5 minute and nothing goes wrong,everything run smoothly no matter if i am maximum or minimum graphics. And then no matter what i im doing its start to lag,but some weird lag. From that point everything run smoothly for about 1-2 second than the screen freeze for 1-2 second and it goes on and on. All of these lag are steady like a metronome.



Config: Intel core 17-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GhZ, GeForce GTX 780M, 16.00 GB RAM and i run on window 8 64 bit.



I uninstalled all JAVA i had and reinstalled the latest 64 bit version (1.8.0_25)

Up, anyone had something like that ?

Windows 8:go to details and find java(TM) SE binary. you will find 2 or more of that program.go and right click the program with the most K and set the priority high

Nice that helped its playable but it still do it sometime for a moment, i've noticed that rightbefore it start doing it i hear my laptop fan goin faster.

I'm having something similar. Only with 1.8 tho'. 1.7.5 works fine.

soooo 1g?

Changed what i tough was the memory to set it at 3g, been playing for the last hour not a single sign of a lag. Thank you very much Sir_Slimey.
