So I recently built myself a new computer and its works fine but there is one problem. When every I install Minecraft it downloads a couple of files to my desktop and although this is not a big deal its annoying to me and I don't think its supposed to be happening I have reached out to a couple of people before and first thing they asked was do you have a roaming folder and I do and I also have a .minecraft folder. The files that load up are called, game, nativelog, and runtime I'll link a pic so you know what it looks like. http://prntscr.com/5q3lrl Any way I guess thats it help would be great!

I downloaded the official minecraft.exe launcher from minecraft.net and bought the game. Now is there supposed to be a location folder inside the .minecraft one?
Ok, so this has been a bug. you need to uninstall/ delete everything inside %appdata%, and the shortcut on your desktop. Then reinstall and make sure the destination is the appdata/roaming/.minecraft.
