I'm experiencing a strange glitch with the armor slots. The armor slots are blacked out unless you hover over them, or place armor in the slot, sometimes the blackout disappears, sometimes not, but only on open slots. Another strange issue, I tried using a dispenser to make an Iron Man style armor equipping device, and it would place armor in the wrong slots, example, helmet as chest piece, leggings as chest and the other pieces going to the inventory.
Forge and Optifine are the only enabled mods. I've even removed the other mods from the folder, still having the issue.
What mods have you installed that required Forge? Also, deleting the mod folder does not remove the mod. The mod is installed into your .jar . You will probably have to delete your minecraft jar and reinstall it. So try using Minecraft without any mods first.
